To extend the Vista or Windows 2008 grace period, use the follow commands:
slmgr -xpr (To show the current grace period)
slmgr -rearm (to extend the grace period with 30 days)
Reboot machine
Create a GPO with a logonscript there filter on Vista and Windows 2008 to run the command:
slmgr -rearm
